Well...
It's now official...I have found the most beautiful place in all of the British Isles and I want to go back there right now. The peace and serenity I found there, coupled with the fabulous and friendly local people, competed with the wondrous and incredible scenery and beautiful, crisp, clean air for it's greatest selling point, and I could easily spend a few years of my life there just winding down...
The place is called Ardnamurchan...it is the Westernmost point on the island of Britain, on a small peninsula up in the Scottish Highlands...It has native Golden and Sea Eagles, still in the wild, wild Adders and Slowworms, Pine Martens and Hen Harriers...And Dolphins, Porpoises and Whales of many varieties, including its own Orca pod...
I left a piece of my heart up there...and anyone that follows my advice and takes the difficult journey up there to see it will be hard-pressed not to do the same...
I'm now back from my 2 weeks Archaeological Excavation up there...and I can't wait to get the chance to go back... |

Ok...
So...good things and bad things...
First things first...
THEY
GOT
THE
BASTARDS!!!
My brother informed me that yesterday they caught three teenage lads red-handed burgling a house whilst it's occupants were out...these lads match the descriptions perfectly of the lads I suspected of breaking into my gaffe...
The most wonderfully ironic part is it's my brother who took them in...without any resource to police brutality...except when necessary ;)
OK...in other news we now have finally had replaced everything the burglars took thanks to our contents insurance...UNFORTUNATELY the Laptop they've lumbered me with is SHITE!!! And I can't do anything about it as TECHNICALLY it's an improvement on my stolen one...but I don't think it is...just cos it's better on paper don't mean it's beter for real...
AND MY OLD ONE HAD A GODDAMM KEYPAD!!! Plus this touchpad's awfully uncomfortable...and it's a HP Compaq instead if an HP...
Oh well...
Tomorrow I will ring and complain...don't ask don't get... |
